The School will use 23% less energy (gas, water, electricity, etc.) than an ordinary educational building. Double insulted windows—argon gas to trap sun warmth to lower heat production. Multi-purpose room’s floor is made from bamboo, which is vert eco-friendly. Daylight sensors choose when the lights come on and off—depending on sunlight level. Motion detector for bathroom lights—shut off when no one is there. Green roof—has grass and desert-type plants absorb heat. Rooftop classroom, and rain water will be captured and used. Collect water vapor from the air conditioning. Monitors on each floor that will say the daily events. Will have a building dashboard—interactive and see how much energy has been consumed. Bathrooms: two flush options, automatic sink, blow dryers, and eco-urinals. Solar panels to heat water—hydrothermal. Furniture, green guard certified—low VOCs, wood, etc. VOC—volatile organic compounds. All the glues, rubber, paint, and carpet have no nasty chemicals.
